Non Places

Working on the launch of MTM – Made to measure, UniFor’s latest collection designed by Herzog & de Meuron, we curated the

Non Places installation at Spazio UniFor.

Non Places is a spatial device that suspends any typological definition.

Our intervention doesn't recreate a recognizable environment, but instead introduces an abstract condition: an unassigned space capable of accommodating the product without determining it.

A cylinder of curved glass eight meters in diameter: a clear, autonomous, legible perimeter. A transparent threshold that both separates and reveals. Inside, a landscape that belongs to no recognizable place. A mineral surface, almost Martian. A primordial, abstract ground, suspended.

The non-place becomes the condition that allows the collection not to be defined once and for all, but to adapt, migrate, and transform.
